Devlog 1


Hi there! We're a group of Computer Science students from Chile. This is the first post of a series about this game development process. This project will last all Spring 2022 semester. The final name of this project is in process, so we hope to announce it soon. 

The idea of this game begins with inspiration from Duck Game. We wanted to innovate in the genre, so we created an innovative mechanics. In this version, we want to create a local multiplayer game from 2 to 4 players, where each player's goal is to throw each other’s off the map. To do so, the player has to use objects that destroy the map and kick other players off the map.

The game mechanics goes as follow:

  • The game begins with all players in one map.
  • Each round is played in a different map.
  • The last player in the map will win the point.
  • The winner of the game is the first player to win 3 points.
  • In case of a tie all tied players will fight in a final map, in an all or nothing round.

What we plan to do next:

  • Create a good name for the game.
  • Find a game aesthetic.
  • Plan each map.
  • Start coding.
